INTRODUCING OUR CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM.

Education is the fundamental basis for the advancement of any society.  When children and youth  fall behind, usually due to illness or family economic problems, the resources to catch up do not exist.  The type of school and uneducated parents can make it almost impossible for children to acquire the basic knowledge they need to continue to grow  and thrive.   This make getting a steady job or planning for the future seem hopeless.  For us the Haitian families who have suffered a lot with a government system of exclusion that neglects the unfortunate people, our situation has become more aggravated  especially after the disappearance of our resources such as the Creole pig in 1982, coffee, cocoa, beans, coconut tree, and especially after all the natural disasters that ravaged us such as hurricanes, the earthquakes of 2010  and 2021 in addition to all epidemic diseases like cholera and corona-virus that destroy the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and of course that undermine our financial resources. The situation has become more unfavorable in the City of Marmalade because it is further away from the major cities of the country.

AMO is aware of the parents struggled  for not be able to pay their children's scholar fees cause of the aforementioned scourges, together with our Marmelade representatives committee, we are introducing a program of SPONSOR CHILDREN SCHOLARSHIP for the needed children in the city of Marmelade Haiti which begins since the academic year 2020-2021.

As always in all our interventions in Marmalade, it was our board members and a few friends who contributed. So far, they are the same people who sponsor the first group of children who benefit from the project. We reach out to all Marmeladais, all our friends and all visitors to this page without distinction to join us in this beautiful and gigantic idea in order to be able to continuously increase the number of beneficiaries during this year and throughout the life of the project.

AMO appeals to the conscience and good faith of all of you to reflect on the situation of others who may not have the same chance as you, to choose to be the godfather or godmother of a child by contributing only $150 annually to his or her school fees.
